This policy explains what personal data briidge.one collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website and enquiries made through it. Work carried out for clients is governed separately by the agreement and any data processing agreement signed with that client.
Who we are
briidge.one builds applied AI and custom software for professional firms. For personal data collected through this website, briidge.one is the data controller. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@briidge.one.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, book a call, or apply for a role, we receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, company, and the content of your message or application. Bookings are made through Cal.com, which is embedded on our contact page and collects the details needed to schedule a meeting.
Information collected automatically
We use PostHog for product analytics, configured so that it does not identify you:
- No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Analytics state is held in memory for the length of the page visit only.
- Your IP address is not collected.
- Session recording is disabled. We do not record your screen, clicks, or keystrokes.
What we do collect is aggregate usage: which pages were viewed, in what order, which referrer brought the visit, and coarse device and browser type. Because no identifier is stored, a return visit is counted as a new one and we cannot build a profile of you over time.
This is why the site shows no cookie banner. There is no tracking to consent to.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to this site and retains standard security and performance logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period. This is necessary to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or schedule a call you requested.
- To assess a job application you submitted.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and available.
Legal bases
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, when you contact us or apply for a role; and our legitimate interests in understanding site usage and securing the site, balanced against your rights by the fact that our analytics are cookieless and non-identifying.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors to run the site and our business:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and content delivery.
- PostHog, for cookieless product analytics.
- Cal.com, for meeting scheduling.
- Google Workspace, for email.
Each processes data on our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law.
International transfers
We serve clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, and the UAE and wider Gulf, and our providers operate globally. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Aggregate analytics contain no identifier and are retained in aggregate form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA and CPRA.
To exercise any of these, email hello@briidge.one. We will respond within the time limit the applicable law sets, normally one month.
If you are in the UK or EEA and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to systems holding personal data is restricted to people who need it, protected by single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the page.
